Amber Karichko, Nurse Coordinator
My name is Amber Karichko, and I am a registered nurse, personal trainer, wife, and mother to two incredible “littles.” I have a love and deep respect for holistic, person-centered care. I believe the best results come from treating all aspects of health – mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual.
We are all so different – and that is beautiful. But it also means that we each require health goals and plans that are as unique as we are. That’s where I come in!
So, how did I get here, you may ask? My passion for health, nutrition, and fitness started in my late teens following my parents’ heart attacks. My mother underwent coronary bypass surgery while my father required the placement of two stents. It was a traumatic time, but it was also that catalyst that sparked a desire in me to want to help others develop a healthy lifestyle.
My parents are amazing people, but their unhealthy habits took a major toll on their physical health. I knew that I wanted to dedicate my life to helping people make the necessary changes to prevent illness and disease later in life.
Fast forward several years later. I graduated nursing school with a bachelors in nursing and began my career treating children with mental health issues – first in a hospital setting, and then in a holistic clinic with an alternative to medication called neurofeedback therapy.
Around the same time, I received my personal training certification and began teaching boxing, rowing, HIIT, and strength training alongside my twin sister, Ashley.
Once I became a wife and a mom, I shifted into health coaching for two companies that specialize in chronic disease management.
I have helped clients lose weight and achieve healthier lifestyles by individualizing nutrition and exercise plans.
Becoming a mom has truly changed me in the best way possible.
My goal is to help guide others in making healthier choices so that they can be there for their loved ones and feel empowered, strong, confident and resilient.
I’m with you every step of the way on this journey, and I get the struggle of work/life balance. It is so important to take care of you.
Let me help you.
We can do this together!
