Jenna Stranzl is a licensed registered dietitian nutritionist with a wealth of experience in the field of sports performance and athlete nutrition. With over a decade of experience, she has worked with professional, elite, collegiate, and youth athletes across various sports.
Currently in her 9th season as the dietitian for the NY Islanders NHL Organization, Jenna serves both the NHL and AHL teams. She has also contributed to Rise Up Nutrition, specializing in female athlete nutrition with a focus on disordered eating. Previously, Jenna served as a Sports RD at the University of Pennsylvania for Penn Athletics.
Jenna’s expertise extends beyond the world of professional sports, as she has consulted with sports agencies, collegiate, professional, high-school, and youth athletics. Her previous roles include working as the dietitian for the PGA Tour, OAA Sports Medicine, and Virtua Outpatient/Bariatric Program, IMG Academy, among others.
With a BS in Nutrition Science from Penn State University and a completed dietetic internship from the College of Saint Elizabeth, Jenna has been a practicing registered dietitian since 2008. She is committed to staying at the forefront of her field through continuous professional development opportunities, including working with the Philadelphia Eagles and EXOS.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Jenna has a passion for running marathons, contributing to dog rescue efforts, and tending to her garden. Currently residing in Pennsylvania, she shares her home with her beloved dog, Olivia Hope.
Jenna’s areas of expertise include sports performance nutrition, RED-S (Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport), Intuitive Eating, disordered eating, supplement research, pre and post-op orthopedic nutrition, women’s health and hormones, and weight loss.
With her vast experience and dedication to helping individuals achieve optimal nutrition and performance, Jenna Stranzl is a valuable asset to the Rebel Health Alliance team.
